I know, I am way behind on my posts but to my defense I have been extremely busy, but anyways..
On the 16th my mom flew into town to spend a couple of days with the kids after her very busy tax season. I had leave for work at 6 am and when I went outside to start the jeep this is what I saw....

This is 4 branches that fell on the playhouse from that crazy spring storm. I got about a 10 inches at my house.

This tree is my box elder and it is around 150 years old. I had a guy come bid how much it would be to trim it up or chop it down and he told me it was the biggest box elder he has ever seen. So needless to say we just trimmed it up.

This branch almost broke the playhouse window, but luckily nothing was damaged.

My poor tree had 3 huge limbs break off and somehow we didn't hear a thing that night.

Here is one of the limbs that broke off. My neighbor took it for firewood- It's freak'n huge!

This one was a little tricky. It fell in between two branches and then the end of it landed on my neighbors roof. Again we were very lucky no damage occurred. But it took quite an effort to get down- my neighbor did that one because it required climbing on his roof to cut it up. The joys of being a home owner.
yeah crazy spring storms that drop a foot of snow and then melt in a day!
The weather here in April is so unpredictable.
